World MD-11's still at Meacham?

Hi,

I have heard from other spotters that Meacham sees many World MD-11's on a frequent basis, is this true? And if so, why? I'm guessing for troop transports.

To my knowledge, World MD-11s haven't ever been to Meacham. The military flights on R&R all go to DFW (or ATL or BWI), especially since the troops have to clear U.S. Customs. This would not be possible at Meacham, which is pretty much business jets and the occassional charter, ie TCU sports or what not.

I think you can quite safely put the rumor in the false column.
