Future of QR and EY at DFW?

Postby panamboy70 on Wed Jul 12, 2017 4:45 pm

Looks as if the code share link between the three carriers is soon to end, though no mention of the interline agreement. So, any guesses how this will effect DFW's ME3 standing?

Many on Airliners are predicting the DFW/ORD and PHL will likely be cut. Suffice it to say, take that with a grain of salt.

It is an interesting question. I would imagine QR and EY gain more feed and passengers than AA does from the deal. Perhaps they'll reduce frequencies first, rather than simply dropping routes. QR seems to be doing the best of the ME3 at DFW, load wise, and as they are one world I would think they might be good in the long run. No doubt EK will be watching keenly.
