Midwest to exit DFW?

Here is the latest rumor making the rounds: Midwest will abandon DFW entirely, with their four daily flights to Milwaukee being taken up and flown by Northwest. Thoughts?

It's always sad to see an airline exit your home airport no matter how small the company/operation. It would be a minor hiccup, but hope it's not true.

Well, according to this thread on airliners.net, the following cities will be dropped:

Baltimore, Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, Hartford, Louisville, Muskegon, Orlando, Raleigh, San Antonio, San Diego, St Louis, Wausau.

Apparently you are correct, Capt. Midnight, DFW was spared after all, and despite a reported 66% load factor for Q1. DFW will be dropping one frequency though, and going to 3x daily.
