With Qantas running cargo is there a PAX future?

So I was wondering, with qantas running cargo routes to DFW (I wish it was actual Qantas Metal) could this be an indicator of a potential route down the road seeing they are running cargo into DFW you would think that a PAX flight could be filled up with cargo also. Any thoughts?

This route - DFW/SYD - has been discussed many times over the years. I think there was even a plan in place to start DFW-LAX-SYD before Sept. 11 stopped that. I know Terminal A had a QANTAS sign on the curbside, at least until last year and its probably still there.

Once QANTAS starts receiving 787s, I think the talk will intensify and this route will become a reality. Still a few years down the road though.
