Re: Southwest drops 3 Love Field nonstops

Interesting, those OKC flights used to be fairly popular "back in the day". Slightly surprised. When I lived in OKC I went down to "Baja Oklahoma" fairly often and occasional took the WN flights (I even took Amtrak thrice over the years) but will admit driving was easiest if more...

Re: Ethiopian announces IAH via Lome

Should be DFW! Still, this has been rumored for a while. Looks like IAH is breaking out of its drought. Let's hope the same happens here and soon. IAH is Star and has more Ethiopians than DFW so it seems more logical. AA is just more of an 800lb gorilla than UA (which is good or bad depending on yo...

Re: Commercial Air Service Arriving at Fort Worth's Meacham

please please please make this happen. I used to love the Mesa service in the late 90s to Houston and used it often, sadly Mesa's financials and costs were not good enough (nor marketing) to keep their ops going A FTW HOU flight again would be huge IMO the Orlando and Vegas type flights could do wel...

Re: DFW, CBP to test facial recognition program

Not a fan. They have had this at Houston IAH and Atlanta ATL for some time. I always opt out since it is voluntary for US passport holders at this time. It in no way speeds up boarding or processing at this time, but I do realise it is a trial. I'll save any off colour comments for the off-topic sec...

Per the news, the President is inbound to Houston right now and later in the afternoon is supposed to come to the D/FW area; not sure which airport.
