Source from Dfw airport hinted to me by 2013 BA and Emirates would be flying to DFW. At first I said you must be talking about Etihad, because Emirates has x2 daily IAH and there would be no need to come here. Well, according to the source Emirates is limited with A380 capable airports and DFW holds a large Asian population giving the demand they feel can work.
In regards to BA, I checked their A380 delivery time and 2013 is the start date. so this could have some truth to the situation.
Just my two cents,
Emirates and BA A380's to DFW by 2013?

Does anyone read these forums?
To add to the rumors, I spoke to a good friend at DFW TRACON and mentioned that DFW is finalizing themselves for A380 operation.

WOW. That'll be quite a sight to see.
I'm a bit skeptical. How reliable is this person? I for one, will belive it when I see it.
However, an Emirates and British Airways A380 will certainly push KLM (and maybe even Lufthansa) out the door for good. KLM's loads this summer have actually surpassed Lufthansa's- but that's a different thread.
I don't see how there will be enough premium demand to Dubai to warrant an EK A380- however, I'm ready to be proven wrong!
On the other hand, I believe a BA A380 will be a slam dunk, but I think AA would have to drop a 777 from the route to make it: 2x 777 1x380.
If this actually pans out (and no one leaves!), we could see BA A380, EK A380, QF A380 (rumored), KL A330, LH A343, and KE 777, lined up at Terminal D! That'll be a sight to behold.
